Greetings & Salutations! Welcome to my new blog.  I'm a photographer based out of Camp Hill, PA but my adventures and exploration take me beyond Central PA.  Feel free to take some time exploring my blog site and the links to my professional websites featuring more portrait and wedding images. My old blog will remain active for now and can be found under my websites button in the menu.  You can see previous posts by doing a search, looking under categories, or by using the view next entries option at the bottom of this page.

Cheerfully,

A Stylish Two Year Old - Children's Portraits in Harrisburg, PA

Another two year old photo session!  Recently, I met up with this little one at her home.  I think you'll be able to see that she immediately charmed me.  She called me, "Miss Carisa" during our session which made me giggle.  I was constantly amazed with her vocabulary and enunciation.  I managed to grab some fun photographs inside her home, but we also wandered outside and found this really cool field just behind their house.  I hope she and her parents had a really fun time.

I am always honored to photograph families and hear a little bit about their lives during our sessions.  Thank you so much for the opportunity and for sharing this time with me!

I'm starting with one of the last photos I captured because it's one of my all time faves!

Her grandmother is an artist and I believe she had a lot to do with this cool playroom!!

A girl after my own heart! I was chatting with Mom when we turned around and saw this scene.  It helps to always have a camera ready! ;)

M + D + Roscoe the dog & Little Lady "A" = Fun Portraits in Camp Hill, PA

I've had a string of photographing little ones who are approximately 20 - 24 months old lately.  This age group sure does keep me on my toes! ;)  Of course this age is really fun; this is when I think their personalities really shine! Of course once mobile, there's not much standing still - that's for sure!

Here's a little lady who was just as happy as can be.  I've actually known her Mama since I was little myself; and it was incredibly fun having the chance to document her family as they are right now.  This doting daddy even knew how to fix her barrette.  We lucked out with a really warm fall day and no rain thank goodness.  I know they were wondering if I caught any with all 4 of them in the photographs, thanks of course to my special assistant, I did! I'll save some of those for the gallery, but check out the silly ones of them below. :)

I love this age, it's a challenge, but it's also so much fun, and I feel so lucky that I had the chance to document this special time in this family's life!!

Almost the spitting image of her Mama!

See, Roscoe didn't want to be left out of the fun.  Ha!!

I really love the next one in color too. . .

but this one looks great in color, I like to show some variety here on the blog!

Ahh, this next photo makes me smile!

Portraits in Camp Hill, PA

LaRaye

I photographed this lovely lady a few weeks ago!  She's a natural beauty with striking features!  I think it's the contrast between her skin, hair, and eyes and oh do I love freckles!

Please vote for CarisaK & CK Photography! - Thank you!

My online hosting company selected my company as one of its finalists for a contest they are having.  It's quite simple, the company that ends up with the most votes under its name/photo on their Facebook Group page wins.  I do not enter a lot of contests, but this is one that would benefit my company quite nicely as I've been using this company for 4 years to host my client galleries.  They are functional and their galleries have aesthetic appeal to them.  I just really like the look of these galleries and the ability to upgrade to a full screen view of your proofs.

If you would like, you can vote for me at this LINK which takes you to my page or you can go to this link

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4490561&id=59000586857#/photo.php?pid=4490561&id=59000586857 for the home page of the contest.  I'm the fourth photo/page in the album and my portal looks like my blog header.  Just keeping my branding clean and recognizable!

You have to become a fan of collages.net but then you can leave your comment under my name, which can be really simple even, "my vote" will do and then you can leave the group.  No commitments necessary.  ;)

As a thank you for your time, I will randomly choose a name from the comments section under my portal to send some of my custom photo greeting cards to even if I don't win the contest.  If I do win the contest, I'll be just delighted and all of my clients for 2010 will be able to have a free upgrade to the premium galleries.  Awesome!!!

Thank you for your time, and please feel free to spread the word!
