A Fabulously Fun Family Session
You already met Sammy and Phoebe, now meet the rest of the gang! I had the pleasure of meeting this down to Earth family who definitely knows how to have fun. They were a little worried about bringing both dogs along, but I told them Brian and I are pros at photographing doggies. I just keep my camera ready and Brian helps me round them up for photos when they start to run and frolic. Of course it helps to have some yummies handy too. I love how expressive this family is, but I'll let you see that for yourself.
To Janeen and her family. . .we had so much fun, and please enjoy your CarisaK photo teaser!

The next one just might be my fave of all of them from the day!

The next photo is just too funny not to include!

Meet Sammy and Phoebe. I met these two sweeties at a family shoot this past week. You'll see their fun-loving family shoot later, but in the meantime, here are a few images that I instantly fell in love with while editing their files.

Photographing a Photographer - My Pay It Forward Experience
As you may have read on my blog just a few weeks ago, I am participating in a photographer's project called Pay It Forward. If you want to see my family's portrait captured by the wonderful John and Dalisa Cooper you can go here

Now on to the awesome family I captured last week as my part of the project. I had so much fun with Cyndi and her family, and I really hope we have the opportunity to meet up again very soon. I took a little different approach to the project by asking Cyndi if there was a local place she would like me to take her family photograph. As a fellow photographer, I know there have definitely been a few times when I was shooting a session, and I thought to myself, I want to come back here and have our photos taken here.
Since she and her hubby both went to Messiah, we ended up going there which was absolutely perfect because I love the Red bridge and creek that runs through campus. If you have been following my blog, you'll also know how much I love doggies. How great that they just adopted little Josie just before this session.
To Cyndi Klose and her adorable family, Thanks, I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them for you! I can't wait to see your results of PIF!

My new blue chair is featured in this shoot!
