After having to reschedule due to all of the rain, this family made the trip up from Philly for some fun in the forest!

Luke contacted me a few months ago about purchasing a gift certificate for his lovely wife for their wedding anniversary.  You see, Jessica loves photography and she captures wonderful moments of her children and husband, and they get some great ones of her as well.  As most families know though, someone is typically missing during all of this fun . . . the photographer! ;)  So, the goal for our session was for this family to have fun in the woods while I captured all of them together!  Of course, there were some silly little moments that happened during our session and many that involved a caterpillar! 

I had so much fun while Mom and Dad allowed their kids to just be kids, dirt and all!  I think Luke scored major brownie points with his gift!  I wanted to try to give you a feel for this session and one or two images just wouldn't have cut it.  Brian scored major brownie points with me for being the best helper ever!  Jessica and I are lucky gals! ;)

When Becky first contacted me, she mentioned a few things to me.  She told me she and Jim had been together for 28 years and she thought it was time to have some new photographs taken that celebrated this accomplishment (even if they were not newlyweds) that weren't so posed and stiff looking.  She also mentioned that they were avid hikers.

With all of this information, I set out to capture some genuine, sweet, and fun loving moments of this devoted couple.  Becky & Jim, you are an inspiration to me and Brian and I hope you had as much fun during the session as we did. 

I left the session hoping that after another 23 years, Brian still looks at me the way Jim still looks at Becky, and that we have just as much fun living life together as it appears they do!!

Meet Max & Sabbi. . .two kitties who are super special and super sweet!  Max is probably the most vocal kitty I've ever met.  Seriously, he greets you at the door with a huge M E O W and lets you know when he's ready to play or eat or snuggle.  Sabbi, although much smaller than Max, is a tiny kitty with a huge personality. . .Max is well aware of this!  ;)

Cori is a down to earth senior who was cheerful and charismatic.  It was refreshing talking with her about her many interests such as hiking and camping, band, and field hockey.  I had an amazing time wandering around her home for some very personal photo opportunities.  She's quite the explorer which allowed me to capture many unique and diverse photographs during her senior session.
